It is recommended to carry out an adhesion test on each substrate before installation. New plasterwork or strongly absorbent substrates (powdery top layer) must first be pretreated, otherwise the moisture is absorbed from the adhesive too quickly, which reduces the bond. You can use a primer that serves as pretreatment before painting, wallpapering or tiling, such as Albastine Primer for Absorbent Surfaces.
