It is recommended to perform an adhesion test on each surface before installation. New plasterwork or highly absorbent surfaces (powdery top layer) must be pre-treated beforehand, as moisture from the adhesive will otherwise be absorbed too quickly, reducing adhesion. You can use a primer designed as a pre-treatment for painting, wallpapering, or tiling, such as Albastine Primer for Absorbent Surfaces.
